Does the whooping cough shot hurt?

hey! ok soo this friday or tomorrow i am going to be getting the whooping cough shot thanks to the stupid deadline but what i wanted to know was about 3 months ago i got a Novocain shot in my mouth for my 4 pre-molar extractions and i wanted 2 know if it would hurt more or less than the shot of novacain? haha im such a baby when it comes to needles! How was your experience with the whooping cough shot? thx in advance
